How Meta charges work
WhatsApp charges per message, not per conversation. Pay Meta directly at these rates, or prepay from a wallet in rupees. These are the India rates as of 1 October 2026.
- Pay Meta directly: add your own card in Meta Billing Hub and Meta bills your WhatsApp Business Account in rupees, at the rates in this table.
- Or prepay: recharge a wallet with us by UPI, card or net banking. Wallet message rates include a small margin to cover payment-gateway and Meta-side fees.
- You pay per delivered message, by category. Messages that are not delivered are not charged.
- When you pay Meta directly we add no markup. Your plan pays for the software, not for the messages.
- Replies inside the 24-hour window after a customer writes to you are free. So are utility templates sent inside that window.
- Click-to-WhatsApp ads open a 72-hour window in which every message to that customer is free.

India rates in rupees, per delivered message, as of 1 October 2026. They are before applicable taxes. Meta sets these rates and may change them, and it applies volume tiers to utility and authentication messages. Your Billing Hub and Meta’s official pricing page are the final word.
Pricing questions
What do I pay in total each month?
Two separate things. First, your Aviral WhatsApp Platform plan, in rupees plus 18% GST. Second, Meta's per-message fees for the template messages you send, which you pay to Meta directly or from a prepaid wallet. Replies inside the 24-hour window are free. The pricing calculator estimates both from your message volumes.
Do you add a markup on WhatsApp message fees?
Not when you pay Meta directly. Add your own card in Meta Billing Hub and Meta bills you at its own rates, so what you see there is what you pay. If you prefer, recharge a prepaid wallet with us in rupees by UPI, card or net banking; wallet message rates include a small margin to cover payment-gateway and Meta-side fees.
What is included in the free trial?
The trial lasts 14 days. You can connect a WhatsApp number, use the shared inbox, build templates, send broadcasts and set up automations within trial limits: 3 seats, 1 number, 1,000 contacts, 1,000 campaign messages and 2 automations. Meta's message fees still apply to any template messages you send. Start a trial by contacting us and we will set it up with you.
Are the prices inclusive of GST?
No. All prices are in Indian rupees and exclude 18% GST, which is added on top. We issue GST tax invoices for plan payments. Meta's fees are billed separately by Meta, which has its own taxes.
How does yearly billing work?
A yearly plan costs ten times the monthly price, so you get two months free. You pay once a year, and the plan cards show the monthly equivalent so you can compare.
What counts as a campaign message?
Any template message sent through a broadcast or campaign counts towards your monthly campaign message limit. Replies your team sends from the inbox do not. The limit is separate from what Meta charges you per message.
Can I add more team members?
Yes. Every paid plan includes a set number of seats, and you can add extra seats for ₹499 per seat per month.
Can I keep using the WhatsApp Business app on my phone?
Yes. With coexistence, the same number works in the WhatsApp Business app and in the platform at the same time, so you do not have to give up the app to use the team inbox or send campaigns.
How is AI priced?
Pro and Enterprise include an AI tier with knowledge-base answers. On Starter and Growth, AI is available as a paid add-on, and larger AI tiers are add-ons on every plan. Ask us for the current add-on prices.
What if I need a custom setup or more than Pro offers?
Enterprise is for teams that need unlimited seats, numbers, contacts and campaign messages, custom onboarding, or a security review. Talk to sales and we will quote for your volume.
