What is and is not in the estimate
The calculator covers the messages Meta bills for. A few things change the real bill.
- Marketing, utility and authentication templates are charged per delivered message.
- Replies inside the 24-hour customer service window are free, and so are utility templates sent inside it.
- Every message in the 72 hours after a customer starts a chat from a click-to-WhatsApp ad is free.
- Utility and authentication rates fall as your monthly volume reaches Meta’s volume tiers.
- Meta sets and may change all rates. Check your Billing Hub before you budget.

Frequently asked questions
What does this calculator estimate?
The message fees Meta charges your WhatsApp Business Account each month, by category, for recipients in India. It also suggests the smallest plan that fits your volume, team size and numbers, and adds the plan price so you can see a monthly total.
Why are replies not in the calculator?
Free-form replies sent inside the 24-hour customer service window are free, so they add nothing to the bill. The same goes for utility templates sent while that window is open and for any message inside a 72-hour free entry point window from a click-to-WhatsApp ad.
How accurate is the estimate?
It multiplies your counts by the India rates in our rate table. Meta sets the real rates, applies volume tiers to utility and authentication messages, and may change them, so your Meta Billing Hub is the final word. Only delivered messages are charged, so a list with many invalid numbers costs less than the estimate.
Do you add anything to Meta’s rates?
Not when you pay Meta directly. Add your own card in Meta Billing Hub and Meta bills your WhatsApp Business Account at the rates above, with no markup from us. If you would rather recharge a prepaid wallet with us in rupees (UPI, cards, net banking), wallet message rates include a small margin to cover payment-gateway and Meta-side fees.
Are my numbers sent anywhere?
No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing you type is stored or sent to a server.
